WHO'S BEHIND THE PEN?
My name is Alec Chambers and I'm a self-taught artist living in Southeast Michigan. I draw images of the natural world mostly using archival ink as my medium onto live-edge sections of differing species of tree. Due to the nomadic nature of my imagination my subject matter often ranges from sleepy countrysides to dramatic mountain ranges with plenty of detours and attractions along the way. I tend to draw places I'd rather be wandering through and I hope you enjoy your own stroll through them.

The works you see here are not prints, but custom hand-drawn creations. Also, I don't sell anything on this site, I leave that to the good people at The Artisan's Bench. If you see something you'd like to own, drop them a line.
