My name is Alec Chambers and I'm a self-taught artist living in Southeast Michigan with my wife and our ridiculously adorable terrier mix, Ruby. I've always drawn things in one form or another, whether absently doodling on envelopes while on the phone, or the labor intensive wood canvas art shown here. My mind wanders to all manner of ideas and concepts, and I do my best to translate those visions into a visual presentation that evokes near-forgotten memories and feelings from the viewer. I like to try new ideas and approaches in my work, so it stays as nomadic as the name suggests.
